Vintage Fun

Made a new layout. It wasn’t what I was going for but it came out like this. I was aiming a fun vintage look. I have no idea if I pulled that off. What do you think of it? All throughout the layout making, my computer pissed me off. I was soo mad. Everything was going incredibly slow. I just wanted to throw my computer out the window. I cannot wait to get a new one. Why can’t money grow on trees?

Is your reflection your actual reflection or what you want to see? Do people see you differently from what you see? I took a pic today and when I look in the mirror and back that picture I don’t see me. I see someone totally different. I don’t mean personality wise but my actual appearance look different from what the mirror showed me.  Maybe it’s just me because I sometimes picture myself as…different i guess?

So I was on youtube today and I saw the funniest video. You just have to watch it. It might not be funny to you but it was to me lol. :D So watch it.  A couple days ago lockerz had a redemption and guess what?? I got something. It ‘s not what I but it was good. I got a $50 amc gift card so free movie. :D I wanted a MAC Book Pro but it was all gone like the first 10 seconds.

I LOVE this layout. It’s super cute, and the colours are awesome :)

I want a new laptop too, as mine goes so slow sometimes too. The fan is also broken, so if I don’t have a portable fan underneath it, it’ll overheat within 15 minutes. It’s terrible, so I can’t even TAKE my laptop anywhere like to school or what not.

It’s awesome that you got a $50 gift card :D It’s not a mac book pro, but it’s still really awesome! Movies are expensive now a days :P

It’s good that you’ve stuck to the cutting down on candies. FIve months is a long time, so good job :)

Country music is so underrated. Everyone just thinks it’s all hicks and what not, but it’s not :P It has more meaning in one song than many other genres have in ten.. at least in my opinion :P

I understand what you mean, when I see myself in pictures then I look at myself in the mirror I look different. I don’t know why though, it looked like the mirror magnified my flaws for some reason :/

The video was funny lol it does look like she’s trying to hard to be sexy.

Bleh. I hate it when my computer lags when I’m working on something in Photoshop. Sometimes I just want to stab my computer when it freezes when I’m working on something I haven’t saved yet. D:

I guess so. Sometimes when I have pictures taken of me from many different views, I feel I look different in a lot of them, yet most people say I look the same. That’s probably not what you were saying but that’s how I interpreted it, haha.

I saw that video! LOL. The Can’t Be Tamed video reminds me of Britney Spear’s Toxic. I don’t have anything against Miley, but she made quite a big jump from “it’s the CLIIIMMBB!” to “I won’t tell you to get to hell!”. o_o

Yay for the movie gift card! Yeah, I saw a lot of people getting into Lockerz all looking to get that Macbook. It would have been difficult to get a laptop among thousands of people, haha.

Do you by any chance have an acer laptop? Or is it just one that’s really old? My family has 3 acer laptops (mine, my mom’s & my sisters) and after awhile, they all start to hardcore such. If only money grew on trees so I could buy a new one :P

Movie tickets used to be that much here, I think it was 9.99 with tax. Then it went up to 10.50, but now it’s down to 10.25. Or on a tuesday it’s 5.12.. haha, what a random price tho.

With your layout. You have no idea how much I love vintage things. I’ve tried to make a vintage layout before, but it didn’t work out so well. I love the little cut-outs in the header, and the background is great.

I know what you mean. Whenever I look in the mirror, I think, “Wow, I actually look good.” And then someone takes a picture of me, or I take a picture of myself, and I look completely different. I think that your perception has to partly do with what you look like in the mirror.

I actually got an invite from a lockerz member before, but I was stupid enough to ignore it. I found it again in my inbox after MONTHS, but it doesn’t work anymore.

Hey, the layout is really cool! I like it a lot. I think you captured the fun vintage look. It’s bright and colorful but it also looks, well, grungy and vintage :)
I love my laptop. It makes me happy lol I wouldn’t mind having a Macbook. That would be…amazing! I just don’t want to complain about my computer because it’s working perfectly. Still, I would like a Macbook.

That’s a shame you didn’t get the Macbook. :( But at least you got something and you gave it a go!

I love this layout, by the way. I think it’s gorgeous and colourful just like your other layouts. You always do a great job! Cute vintage isn’t something I’d personally go after, also because I don’t feel like I could get the ‘look’ right. I don’t even know if I have a style but for some reason I feel like you do. XD

Sometimes on certain days I feel different, like something has changed and I feel good inside. A few weeks ago I felt like I wasn’t much of an angry person anymore. I don’t know, sometimes I just feel that way. :3

I agree, though. I don’t think people should make fun of other people because of the way they look because it lowers their self esteem and can be classed as bullying. I hate being short sometimes but I’ve learned to love it. :P

I don’t mind being home in the morning BUT there is the issue of my mum being home and all, which I don’t like… family drama just straight out sucks.

I never get the feeling someone is watching me… but I totally understand that about parents.. exactly – my parents close doors but I’m not allowed. Where is the sense in that?!

I KNOW ISI HAHAHA. You change your layouts too often! I used to do that but I stopped. Making a new layout is also quite a bit of work.

English is a good subject but yes, you’re expected to read a lot. At least you’re doing the reading you have to do. :3

I do the same. Only about a month ago I decided to moderate comments. It makes it easier to keep track of how many you have left. I have to admit, seeing the number in the circle makes me feel unmotivated sometimes. :|

I can’t lie down and go on my laptop because it feels uncomfortable. D: I just prefer to sit at my desk. :P

My computer is very very very slow and very very very old, too. I love it but hate it too. =]

Yep. I totally agree. I’d look in the mirror and see that I’m looking good, but someone would snap a picture then and I’d see a totally different person. Same with my voice. If I hear a voice mail I’d sent earlier and realize that I had no idea my voice was like this.

Nothing in life is free, even water. It would be amazing if it would grow on trees, but unfortunately it’s not like that. (N)

Everytime I take a picture I look different on every picture. On one, I look cute, on other one serious, and on some pictures I don’t even recognize myself.

I have love handles too. So I’m starting since today. Will you do it with me? I’m eating healthy. And I’m not eating bread or any junk food. And I have some good exercises. I might get an HP if my laptop really starts sucking, but I might just stick it out with my crappy acer until I go off to college next year and need a new laptop.

When I went to comment, it all shifted left instead of being centered.. but I am using IE and most use FF.

I think you did an amazing job with it! Ive wanted a vintagey layout for the longest time but can’t pull it off. The only thing Id suggest is maybe a background for the main/sidebar divs so it doesnt look like it floats but it doesnt look bad! I love the colors too. =)
